Foods to increase testosterone
89Foods that increase testosterone
Testosterone is a male hormone which plays a vital role in a man’s health and sexuality. Its production is dependent on zinc and vitamin B and although it is not found directly in the food we eat, certain foods can lead the body to produce more of it.
Testosterone is highly important for both men and women. However, men produce around 40 to 60 times more testosterone than women. Normally, testosterone levels in men are about 30% higher in the morning than at night time. This may explain why men are more interested in sex in the morning and is part of the reason for spontaneous morning erections.

All the foods mentioned do increase testosterone levels. I eat some of them regularly and they do work. The key is to eat the foods regularly enough to see benefit.

Good information.
I just had to read this one again. So good!
Testosterone is really important. More than just in the realm of sex, it does a lot to keep one healthy and energetic.
Princess, I followed the tips on this hub and guess what, my testosterone did increase :)
Great topic! I was just thinking about how to get testosterone naturally. I always worried about this since I became a (near eggs, fish OK) vegetarian 3 years ago and body building at the same time. For dDeveloping muscles having the big 'T' I guess is very essential to have in the body. Also I have been told having an active sex life also helps develop it ? don't know
BTW, had some oyster this weekend, I ordered them just because I read this hub :) Did feel a big difference with the wifey that night :)
Great! Love reading and writing about the foods/exercises that help boost testosterone.
Cool stuff, I'll keep these foods in mind
Hi Princessa, Just wanted you to know that I added a complimentary link on my hub called Vitamins Supplements for Male Menopause to this one. You have really done a great job on explaining foods to increase testosterone, hopefully my link will enhance your traffic to this hub. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge on this subject. :)
I can't make myself eat a oyster. However, I do like bananas but I don't think I have a problem with my testosterone levels. I found your hub very useful.

Princessa, thanks for all the useful information I have also linked this hub to Let's Talk Sex. Love your writng. I am so glad I discovered you.
This is good information for me as a man. I'll bookmark this one. Thank you very much.
I think that this is an excellent Hub, Princessa, and although I am familiar with the concept of testosterone, I did not previously realise that it had multiple benefits.
I really like this hub...It is not that I have a problem down there but I needed some supplements for the extra testosterone levels to keep off some localized problem fat areas around my belly.
A simple inclusion of bananas in my diet has reduced the problem area to less concerning levels. Thanks again.
Really great info... I would definitely suggest maca for that list too! Check out my hubs for a article on maca. Somewhere between 2 to 6 tablespoons a day of the powder can dramatically increase testosterone.
thank ou for the enfo and am going now to eat a bannana :D
Great hub!!!!!!
The information regarding male hormone testosterone is immensely useful. The hub provide scientific point of view, to the whole scenario. The element for instance zinc is necessary for male hormone. The individual will accordingly opt for the food which is so fruitful for male hormone. Thanks a lot for information.
For all those men who read this article, dont go through x-ray machine at the airport after having the above foods ! Because the results will be very visible !!!

Full of useful information. On the first part of your hub about morning erections, I just knew that now.

lots of great information. I had no idea avacados were part of this group.
I was drawn to this post through cyber-space via testosterone, ha! Nice hub!
I will add: Eating lean, red meat also helps raise this lovely love-lifting hormone, but you don't hear about that as often - due the bad reputation red meat has.
Avocado, oyster and oily fish are among my favorites...now I know there are additional incentives for males to eat these. Good read Princessa!

Interesting topic from a fascinating woman.Sorry if that sounds like a come on. How does one not sound this way when paying a sincere compliment?! Anyway, personally believe in argenine (sp?) to maintain optimal male health, which I hope never goes away. Expect there must be a complementary one for women?

Had to read this hub again. Very well done !
nice topic, good info!
Very informative.
I love all these foods and enjoy them often, but with my age and health problems sex is like trying to shoot pool with a rope.
My doctor recommended the DR MAX POWERS HGH SPRAY and I didn't know how seriously to take these things - but I was hunting with a buddy and he told me how good the Dr. Max Powers HGH Spray is for libido because he used it a couple of time before.
I'm kind of a penny pincher, but this deal was too good to pass up! (I originally bought just 1 to try it out but now I buy the 3 pack to save money)
I have to say I had GREAT results! It's hard to admit the libido is not what it use to be, but last week, my wife told me her Studmuffin was back. The kids are gone, and now we are chasing each other around like a couple of teenagers. This stuff is GREAT!!! Hey baby, I'm ready! A N Y T I M E -- A N Y W H E R E !!! if you know what I mean!
There must be lot more natural food stuff to regulate the testosterone levels. I live in south Asia and would like to know about the stuff which is easily available here. We dont have oysters, avocados, and asparagus here. Thank you.
Nice info here. I was unaware of the fact that banana could help me to increase testosterone.

Hope to add some more testosterone with help of th food told by you will get my girl. Haha..
Thanks for the informative hub. It ties in nicely with my hub on contraception which highlights the effect of estrogens in the environment & how they are affecting the health & hormonal balance of all of us, male & female.
As well as eating foods that boost natural hormone balance it is also very important to avoid foods & products that throw the balance out in the first place!
regards, Lou. xx

Great Hub! It's nice to see information on healthy ways to boost testosterone.
Nice details. I am enjoying your Hubs.
An interesting Hub. I think I might just change my diet....
Thanks and U2;)
IM just stuffing my face with bananas!:D
This is just what the doctor ordered!!!
I saw a documentary a while back that did and experiment!
It took one hot red blooded male who was high in testosterone and another guy with very low testosterone levels, and made them do certain tasks,,
The guy with the high testosterone was made to do things like washing dishes, hoovering and playing silly child games, and the other guy with the lower testosterone was made to build, drink beer and do all those manly things we do..
After the experiment, the guy with the High testosterone levels was reduced and the guy with the low levels of testosterone was increased!!
Seeing as i do all my own cooking(Re-heating), washhng, hoovering etc, these food items you listed is right up my street!
Thnkas for sharing such valuable information!;)
Nice details, But less testosterone is not much problem instead hormonal levels imbalance causes low testosterone
and i prefer an alkaline diet to control hormonal imbalance.
I will shortly write an hub on Hormonal imbalance.
However some of the foods you mention are alkaline and hence will help in controlling hormonal imbalance.
i enjoy reading your hub

I have eaten all your food suggestions at some time, although probably not regularly enough, except oysters. Never been able to eat much seafood which is a real shame because the rest of my family all love seafood.
Good hub.
Hmmm so that is the reason why my (snip)(snip)(snip)...LOL I don't wanna tell more..Everything is good, except for the raw oyster, I wonder how it tastes..=)
