Sexy halloween party

Every year I throw a big Halloween party, not only to celebrate Halloween but also celebrating Samhain and the Celtic New Year. Last year our party was a great success, we had lots of witches, the Hulk, pumpkins and other Halloween themed dresses. This year, my friends are already starting to ask me about the party theme, so I have decided to surprise them with a Hot Halloween affair with a sexy theme, or at least a sexy interlude later in the evening.

How to organize a Hot Halloween affair on your own without spending a fortune?

Ask yourself who? Where? How? When? Organization and delegation are essential for a successful party. I am already late starting to organize the party but I will manage and thankfully I have very helpful friends which will make it easy to delegate tasks, like preparing food for a buffet, bringing and hanging up decorations -last year a friend came with so many pumpkins for decoration that we were eating pumpkin soup and tart all the way to Christmas!

First of all start making a list of the people you are inviting. It is your party and you want to have fun so invite all those crazy friends who you know are game for anything.

Secondly, once you know how many people are coming you can think about where you will be holding your party. Maybe it is good enough in your living room or you might need to use other areas such as dining and kitchen area and the garden or terrace. Once you know what areas you are opening to your guests you can think about decoration, food and drink, music and entertainment.

Make sure you invite your guests with plenty of time so they have the time to get organized and choose their costumes. Make it clear in the invitations that they should come disguised and that it is going to be a Hot affair.

You can invite people over the phone, by text message, by emails or sending them invitation cards. Nowadays you can download personalized invitations and print them at home. Whichever way you choose, make sure to allow enough time and request an answer to know for sure who is and who is not coming.

One of the most important things for a successful Halloween party is to have everyone playing the game and coming dressed up. For a sexy Halloween party make sure that you ask your friends not only to come disguised but to come dressed in the sexiest Halloween costume they can find. This will create expectation in your guests, a good start for a successful party.

To find a sexy Halloween costume is very easy as there is plenty to choose from. You can buy your sexy costume at a specialized shop or if you have the time and sewing ability, you can look online for sexy costumes ideas and create your own. Remind your guests that they don't need to spend money on complicated costumes, but they do need to "show off some skin" in order to qualify for entrance.

This year I’ve already chosen a sexy costume for my Halloween party, I’ll be dressing up as a Lady Cop. I found this sexy costume at Halloween Costumes (you can see the picture on the right). As soon as I saw it I fell in love with it. The sexy Lady cop costume comes with a black mini dress with "Office Naughty" embroidered in white and a vinyl waist-cincher to help create an hourglass figure. Creating a sexy atmosphere for Halloween is easily done with lighting. Using only candles for lighting can add to the scary Halloween scene, but it also adds a romantic and seductive atmosphere. If you are concerned about candlelight you can always use low lights or dark light bulbs.

You can use scented candles. Cinnamon is not only aphrodisiac but it also adds to an autumn-winter mood.

Curtains are also great for creating atmosphere. You can use transparent red or black curtains to separate your living room from your dining room. This will create a more intimate place to be. A great idea is to create a tiny room with curtains and furnish it just with cushions on the floor. This can be a "private" area for a conversation!

For a Hot affair, make sure that you have some appropriate music to welcome your guests. I personally like Enigma, it is mysterious and sensual; perfect for setting the mood. Later on, when everybody is ready for a dance you can put on something more funky or why not some Lambada and Samba.

Food

Whenever I have a party with lots of guests I prefer to do a buffet and let everybody help themselves. That way I do not need to be in the kitchen or supervising any food preparation. Buffets are easily done in advance. You can ask your closest friends to bring something for the buffet. They will be delighted to make you something for the table. Women always like to be complimented on their cooking so your girlfriends will make an effort to bake their best cake or make their best salad.

Drinks:

Always have plenty of soft drinks and keep the alcoholic drinks to a maximum of 4 different types. A big party is not the time to show off how big and varied is your bar -unless you want to spend a fortune. A sangria is ideal for Halloween and it is very easy and cheap to make. I usually have Sangria, plenty of red and white wine and whiskey and vodka. This might be a limited choice but believe me is enough to keep everybody merry and happy.

Have a sexy dancing contest for men and women. With the revealing costumes, that could be an enjoyable prelude to other party games.

Make up teams and play Pervartistry, an adult, but tasteful, game where two or more teams compete to guess risqué terms and phrases through hilarious charades and drawings. This is sure to take the sexy mood up to a new level.
