Jeremy Irons

Since I read an article the other day that had Jeremy Irons as one of the sexiest men in the world I have not been able to take him out of my thoughts.  And God knows my thoughts are not fit for heaven.

Only a few years later, when I saw him in a film in English, I enjoyed his trade mark haunting voice. So rich and soft that it makes you melt. It is no wonder that apart from acting he has also given his voice to spoken books and animated characters. The Lion King is one of my favourite children’s films. I watch it with my children every time I can just for the pleasure of listening to Jeremy’ voice in the character of Scar.

About Jeremy Irons:

Born on the Isle of Wight, England almost 60 years ago, Jeremy Irons is fitter and more handsome than ever.  Unusually tall for a British actor of his era, at 6' 2" (1.88 m) Jeremy Irons is gorgeous.  An exceptionally good horseman who enjoys skiing, hates cooking, but loves gardening.

Jeremy Irons has worked to bring awareness to the work of the Hope Foundation. The Hope Foundation is a registered Irish charity set up in 1999 to help restore basic human rights to the street children of Calcutta. It aims to provide formal and non-formal education, a nutrition programme and health care for the street children.

Ordinarily I do not like audio books, but when the book has Jeremy Iron’s voice… well, then that is different. Just imagine lying down on your bed after a long day, you have just come out of a hot bath, still wrapped up in your bathrobe. You are feeling relaxed and cosy, now just turn on the tape and listen to Jeremy whispering in your ears a bedtime story…
