You will see that if you want to please a wine lover you don’t need to spend a fortune in fancy wine related gifts, most of the time a wine connoisseur will be happy with just the right utensils, like an effective wine chiller, a new set of wine glasses or a sturdy corkscrew. Wine lovers concentrated on the wine itself rather than in accessories but if you don’t know about wine and want to offer a gift to a wine lover, the safest bet is to go for something simple and useful.
This is my handpicked selection of gifts for wine lovers. If you are a wine lover and have an addition for this list, please add your item in my wish list.
Picnic Stix Set
Picnic Stix Set
I would love this picnic wine glass set! Personally I hate drinking wine in a plastic cup, I think it completely ruins the wine. The problem is that if you are going on a picnic you can hardly take your wine glasses with you. However, with this picnic wine set you can finally take with you proper wine glasses to enjoy a romantic picnic without fear of dropping either the glasses or the bottle.
The set consists of three wine stakes –one for the bottle and two for glasses. Is like having your personal servant holding your glass steadily and ready for you.
The Picnic Stix set is lightweight and portable. They will easily fit into any bag or picnic container. The set makes a great gift for outdoor enthusiasts and wine lovers everywhere.

A designer Wine chiller.
Vacu Vin Guy Buffet Rapid Ice Wine Chiller, Sommeliers
Although most red wines are drunk at room temperature, there are some wines like most white ones, champagne and some red wines that are best enjoyed chilled. For those occasions when you want to cool down a bottle of wine in record time the Vacu Vin Guy Buffet rapid ice wine chiller is the perfect gift for wine lovers.
This easy to use wine chiller is beautifully decorated with a painting of overworked sommeliers by one of America’s most popular French artists, Guy Buffet; an artist with a long time experience in the world of restaurants and wines.
The wine chiller stores in the freezer, like most reusable ice packs -just pull it out, slip it over the bottle and in 5 minutes your bottle will be ready to drink. Don’t forget that this the recommended way by wine specialists to cool down a bottle of wine!
The perfect Wine Sealer
Wine glasses
Most people think of wine glasses as tall rounded glasses, but wine lovers do differentiate wine glass and use different types of glasses for different wines. Just like Champagne is traditionally drunk in flutes, other wines also have a especially designed glass to bring out their best qualities.

Wine Charms
Wine charms are perfect to identify your glass in a busy table. For a girl’s night in I have selected the Trudeau Duo Tone Floral Wine Charms, Set of 12. Your girlfriends will be delighted with this set of charms in 12 colours and 4 floral shapes!
A Corkscrew
You might think that a corkscrew is too simple a gift, but considering that for wine lovers a corkscrew is of great importance, you might want to consider this as a gift. A good corkscrew is of vital importance for a good bottle of wine where the cork might be aged and very fragile or on the contrary, very sturdy to pull out. You need a corkscrew that is easier to use, fast to work and reliable like this Screwpull by Le Creuset made in elegant stainless steel. The Screwpull has an integrated foil cutter and bottle opener. The original design comes from the French Phillipe Coutale, a fifth generation winemaker

I am an OENOPHILIAC! I love my wine and my dream wine gift is:
Gordon: I am delighted to read that I helped you. These are def. good presents for wine lovers, and the most important thing is that they are within a reasonable budget. I know that I have a few corkscrews but they always seem to dissapear or "hide themselves" so it is always handy to have an extra corkscrew. As for the wine glasses, I break so many at the washing that for me a new set of glasses is always a welcome gift.
Thanks for the vote up.
What original ideas. I would love to have the picnic stix, they're so cool.
I love wine charms. We have several sets; both purchased and made by our friends. I love it when our guests rush in to fill their glass and fight over their special charm. Great hub!
c1234rystal: the picnic stix is certainly my favourite gift here, I think it is really cool to be able to drink your favourite one properly while enjoying the outdoors.
Kim: Thanks :-) wine charms are really cute aren't they?

Princessa - thank you! I love the Hub and wine but above all, you have just solved a huge annual problem for me (for this year at least) in deciding what to get my brother for Christmas. He is one of those people that seems to have everything he wants and not want anything he doesn't have but he loves wine and there are a definite few items here that so far as I know he doesn't have. A very big vote up! :)
